TECHNOLOGY

CORE 5,000mm/5,000g waterproof/breathability

PWDR ROOM™ Core™ is our most popular outerwear program, combining performance features and engineering with unsurpassed quality. The outershell has a laminated coating that provides 5,000mm waterproofing and 5,000g breathability. Fully functional pocketing systems, ergonomic hoods and powder skirts lead the extensive list of performance features.

WATERPROOFING

Waterproof / Breathable:
Micro-porous membranes that are laminated to the underside of fabric. Invisible to the naked eye, the pores are large enough to allow perspiration vapour to escape, but small enough to create a weather-proof seal against rain and snow.

Critically Taped Seams:
All major seams including shoulders and hoods in jackets are taped to seal out rain and snow.

DWR Coating:
Durable Water Repellency is an invisible protection layer on the face of the outershell that provides maximum water repellency and is stain resistant. This helps keep the garment comfortable and dry in wet conditions. PWDR ROOM™ uses high grade DWR-90, which retains over 90% of it’s effectiveness, even after 5 machine washings.

LINING

Honeycomb Sherpa:
Mid-weight sherpa in a fun honeycomb pattern provides superb cold weather performance.

Silky Tricot:
100% polyester micro-yarn woven into a silky tricot. Tricot is used on reverse side for a soft luxurious handfeel.

Silky Print:
Soft, silky fine denier polyester is printed with an on-trend Baroque pattern. Used in upper back and sides.

Bouclé:
A soft 2-tone knit fabric used in full back.

Twill Taffeta:
230 denier nylon in a twill weave that is used in both coated and uncoated forms.

Tricot:
A soft yet durable fabric with a brushed finish. It is used for jacket linings and inside of collars and inner storm flaps to prevent chafing.
